YouTube website is optimized for tablets

Now it will be more convenient to watch videos through a web browser

Tablet specifications have long allowed you to browse the web with the quality available on your desktop PC. In this regard, the service YouTube has made appropriate changes to its website. The web interface is now more convenient for devices with large touchscreen, including iPad, Android tablets and computers with Chrome OS. New gestures allow you to quickly move to full screen mode or mini player. Better scrolling and bigger icons are more intuitive. The usual three-point menu (below the thumbnails) is now permanent instead of requiring a mouse pointer.

In addition, the sorting of browsing history has been improved and playlists can be sorted. You can do this by moving the video to the top or bottom. These changes were first seen in March, but are now widely available.

All these innovations do not cancel the apps for viewing YouTube on Android or iPadOS devices. But with the update, there are fewer reasons to use them, making them more versatile in the form of a browser.
