The Ryzen 9 4900HS was faster than the Core i9-10900F CPU

Intel CPU is faster in single thread mode only

AMD Ryzen 4000 mobile high-performance processors are very successful.Even the new desktop Core i9-10900F cannot overtake the Ryzen 9 4900HS.

The Ryzen 9 4900HS is an SMT-enabled 8-core processor running at 3.0-4.3 GHz and featuring a TDP of 35W. The AMD range also includes the Ryzen 9 4900H at 3.3-4.4 GHz and TDP 45W. As for the Core i9-10900F, it's a 10-core processor in the Comet Lake-S line that will be released at the end of May. This CPU runs at 2.8-5.2 GHz and is characterized by TDP 65W.

In the Geekbench test, Intel's newest CPU is faster than the Ryzen 9 4900HS in single threaded mode but slower in multithreaded mode. Intel CPU scores 5747 and 29,363 points respectively, while Ryzen 9,4900HS scores 5286 and 30,339 points respectively. Geekbench is far from being the best performance indicator for processors but in this case the results are still quite interesting.
