Nvidia accelerates GeForce RTX 2060 and RTX 2070 mobile graphics cards

Last week Nvidia introduced GeForce RTX 2070 Super, RTX 2080 Super and GTX 1650 Ti mobile graphics cards.  And the usual RTX 2060 and RTX 2070 have undergone some changes.

The number of CUDA cores remained unchanged, but the updated 3D cards received GDDR6 low voltage memory (1.25V instead of 1.35V) and a new power controller. Lower memory consumption while maintaining the same power limit allows the adapter to raise the GPU frequency more, so the graphics card will run slightly faster.

The updated RTX 2070 GPU frequency can reach 1485 MHz (30 MHz boost), but for the RTX 2060 such data is not yet available. But the updated RTX 2060 has significantly increased TDP - from 90 to 115 W. It means that the card will obviously be much faster. The updated RTX 2070 has the same index - the same 115 watts.
