Notebook Asus ROG Zephyrus G14

The tests Asus ROG Zephyrus G14, built on the modern AMD platform with Ryzen 4000 hybrid processors, have appeared on the web. As it turned out, the 7-nanometer APU provides not only decent performance, but also very economical use of battery reserve.


It should be noted at once that Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 has not the smallest battery - its capacity is 76 Wt/h. But in gaming models such batteries are not uncommon, while the special autonomy of past generations could not boast: on average, you could count on an hour with a small in gaming mode. And what about the ROG Zephyrus G14? It allows 2 hours and 18 minutes in-game (Metro Exodus was used for the test). The Cinebench R20 test lasted a bit longer - 2 hours and 23 minutes. Finally, in video playback mode the notebook worked for exactly 11 hours, and in normal mode - 11 hours and 32 minutes.

By the example of Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 you can see that due to 7-nanometer technical process AMD APUs turned out not only powerful, but also very economical. Alas, there's nothing to oppose Intel mobile CPUs in this respect: separate notebook instances of "blue" manage to consume more AMD desktop processors with fewer cores.
