Honor has confirmed the use of Kirin 990, Kirin 985 and Kirin 820 in the Honor 30 range

Presentation of Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro expected April 15

Honor has published a statement on its page in the Chinese social network Weibo that the line of smartphones Honor 30 will use three different platforms: Kirin 990, Kirin 995 and Kirin 820.

The explanation is quite simple: Honor 30S is based on Kirin 820. The smartphone is part of the Honor 30 range, which also includes Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro.

Honor 30 Pro will be equipped with the single crystal system Kirin 990. The standard version of the Honor 30 will receive yet unannounced mobile platform Kirin 985, which will be similar to the Kirin 820. The new platform will receive a single 2.58 Hz Cortex-A76 core, three 2.4 GHz Cortex-A76 cores, and four 1.84 Hz Cortex-A55 cores.

AI Benchmark confirms that the Kirin 985 is the third in the corresponding ranking, second only to the Kirin 990 5G and MediaTek Dimensity 1000. The novelty was faster than Kirin 820, Kirin 990 and all other single crystal systems.

Presentation of Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro is expected on April 15.
