Electric crossover Byton M-Byte: 272 hp, 435 km power reserve

Byton Company in Nanjing has released the first series of M-Byte electric cars. The final testing, certification and registration of the model will take place very soon.

The basic model involves the location of an electric motor on the rear axle of 200 kW (272 hp). The battery pack has a capacity of 72 kWh up to 360 km according to WLTP classification.

All-wheel drive version with two electric motors has a capacity of 300 kW (408 hp) and a battery of 95 kW*h. This is the longest range version of the model, the mileage on one charge is - 435 km.

Byton has managed to develop its own design without borrowing, the car has turned out to be attractive. The futuristic appearance is accentuated by the technological original forms.

The most unique in the interior is the display. A huge 48-inch screen stretched along the whole windshield, but even this was not enough, so another 7-inch screen was placed in the steering wheel. It also had touch buttons to control all kinds of functions.

M-Byte can be started and locked using a special key or face recognition program. The electric car also has its own Byton Life application with the ability to control the car's systems and decipher its status data.

The cost of the vehicle is not yet advertised.
