This is not a smartphone for everyone. The CEO of Huawei commented on the high cost of Huawei P40 Pro+.

The Huawei P40 Pro+ is the most expensive model in the history of the flagship range.

Huawei officially introduced its flagship smartphones P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ just a few days ago. But there are already plenty of opposing opinions about the novelties on the web: while some people admire the technology, others complain about the high cost - especially the P40 Pro+ (1400 euros). In this regard, Yu Chengdong, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group, decided to comment on the situation.

The top manager noted that the P40 range is extensive and includes cheaper models - P40 for 800 euros and P40 Pro for 1000 euros. So if the user wants to get the latest technology of the company, but is limited in finance, it is better to choose from these two. And the P40 Pro+ is "a very expensive phone, not suitable for everyone". In other words, the top model - for the selected ones who do not lack money and are willing to spend on a new smartphone 1400 euros.

Apparently, Huawei decided to completely abstract from the situation with Google services. After all, if in China, as well as in some Asian countries there is really no problem with this, in all other regions Huawei Mobile Services is still a very questionable alternative to GMS. But at the same time Huawei asks for its top even more than Samsung, which has full order with Google services. In general, the market prospects for the P40 Pro+ are still in great doubt, and this opinion sounds not only in the European media, but also in Chinese. So far, smartphones are available only for pre-order, and real interest in them will be more or less clear only on April 8 - after the official premiere of new products in the home market in China. Well, while waiting for the data on pre-orders, you can admire the broken Huawei P40 Pro - the lack of the model on sale did not prevent someone to get it and unsuccessfully dropped on the floor.
