New contact lenses can help people with color blindness

Color blindness is a disorder consisting in the inability to perceive the differences between some or all of the colors. All this indicates that the lenses appeared.

This solution is not as innovative as you might expect. Indeed, using special filters, you can allow the patient to see a palette of real colors.

Their creation requires scientists insanely accurate work. Researchers developing this solution focus on the very surface of the lenses. This was done in accordance with technologies known as the “meta-surface”, which allows you to intervene in the nanometric design, allowing you to personalize and manually correct deuteranopia.

This project is still in the stage of clinical trials, and is likely to require a lot of time.
