Lavender tea helps with headaches and stress

Each of us suffers from stress or headaches at times. It is as if these two problems complement each other, because in stressful situations a person may have a headache. And a headache, in turn, can cause stress in a person.

The best remedy for headaches, according to some scientists, is a drink with the addition of lavender inflorescences. Today, there are many recipes for tea with the addition of this plant and each of them has special flavour properties. The easiest way to make lavender tea is to put a couple of teaspoons of trusses in a glass, pour water and add some lemon juice. This drink is not only fragrant, but also healthy because lemon juice increases the strength of the ingredients in lavender.

Useful properties of lavender

According to scientists' calculations, lavender contains about 150 active substances that have a beneficial effect on the human body. Lavender flowers have long been used to produce soothing and antiseptic drugs. It is also known that drinks with added lavender normalise stomach acidity, improve appetite, and reduce blood pressure.

Despite all the above mentioned benefits of lavender, such drinks are contraindicated to some people. For example, lavender tea should not be drunk by people who take medicines containing iodine and iron. The chemicals contained in tea and medicines can conflict and lead to unpredictable results.
