In Russia, smartphones are learning to record a person’s body temperature at a distance

In Russia, smartphones will “teach” how to fix a person’s body temperature at a distance.
A special sticker thermometer will be used for this.

This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the HealthNet infrastructure center of the National Technology Initiative (NTI). A new sticker thermometer will be presented in Russia in September 2020.

The sticker will remotely transfer data to the smartphone using a special application. In this case, the phone should be located at a distance of no more than 50 meters from the thermometer. The device is intended to be used in hospitals and at home.

Experts said that the sticker thermometer can be especially useful to parents who monitor the health status of the child. Sometimes he has to measure the temperature every one to two hours. The new device will simplify this process. It is non-toxic and environmentally friendly. The measurement accuracy corresponds to the usual mercury thermometer.
