Important difference between the camera and the most expensive iPhone 2020

Apple smartphones can only catch up with Huawei P30 Pro in 2022.

Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at TF International Securities, known for his links to Apple's manufacturing supply chain, talked about the differences between cameras in iPhone models of the next generation.

According to the analyst, the most expensive model in 2020, the 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max, will boast new technology to stabilize the image in the main camera.

We're talking about sensor-shift stabilization technology. Current models of iPhone use optical image stabilization, which imposes its own limitations, as it depends on the optics of each module. The Sensor Shift Technology will allow the stabilization to be used in any module of the camera, regardless of the type of optics.

Ming-Chi Kuo noted that in 2021 the technology will be used in two or three iPhones, and in 2022 Apple smartphones will have a periscope module, as in last year's Huawei P30 Pro.
