China is the first again. 5G networks launched in 34 countries, more than 50% of base stations installed in China

On March 9, Huawei held an online conference dedicated to new products and solutions that are somehow related to fifth-generation mobile network technology.

Representatives of Huawei, which is the world's leading supplier of 5G base stations, said that commercial networks are currently deployed in 34 countries and regions of the world, while new-generation networks are already actively used in the manufacturing, media and processing industries.

It is noteworthy that more than 50% of 5G base stations are installed in China, where three domestic telecom operators offer ultra-fast data transfer speeds over mobile networks not only to ordinary users, but also to four thousand organizations.

The main thing is that the three largest domestic telecom operators in China announced the official commercialization of fifth-generation networks only in October last year, while in South Korea, 5G networks started operating much earlier, in early 2019.
