AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS Hybrid Processors

Ryzen 4000 APUs make discrete entry-level graphics cards unnecessary

The performance data of the AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS hybrid processor (as part of the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 notebook) has appeared on the web, and they say that this APU successfully replaces the bundle of the Intel Core i7-10510U mobile processor and GeForce MX250 basic level graphic adapter.

Thus, Ryzen 9 4900HS scored in the 3DMark Fire Strike 3691 test: GPU APU scored 4084 points, CPU scored 21289 points. For comparison, the GeForce MX250 in the same test as part of another notebook scored only 3651. So you don't have to worry about the graphics performance of the Ryzen 9 4900HS. As for the performance of the Core i7-10510U in comparison with the same APU, then there is a difference of three times. However, the comparison is not quite correct, as Ryzen 9 4900HS has 8 cores and supports 16 threads, while the Core i7-10510U is a quad-core model, though with higher clock frequency.
