AliExpress Russia nullifies commission for Russian sellers

AliExpress Russia launched an initiative to help small and medium-sized businesses. AliExpress Russia will reset the commission for Russian sellers, while Russia will become the first country where AliExpress operates with zero commission.

Since its foundation, AliExpress Russia has withheld a commission from the seller, now it is 5 or 8%, depending on the category of goods. Zeroing the commission will affect all product categories and will be valid for six months on the first 100 orders. Sellers who register on AliExpress Russia after March 31 will be able to take advantage of the new conditions.

Zeroing the commission will affect only Russian entrepreneurs and will not apply to resident sellers of other countries. Now there are more than 10 thousand Russian sellers on AliExpress, in the assortment of which there are more than 1.5 million goods in almost all categories.

The trend for the flow of consumer demand from offline to online is not new - we have been observing it for 10 years on AliExpress. The current boom in online orders is fueled not only by the development of the online services industry - buyers are careful not to visit stores. In this situation, online sales channels are becoming the mainstream for many businesses. And many businesses are now in a difficult situation. We want to support manufacturers and suppliers not only as a platform for placing goods, but also as a partner: zeroing the commission encourages newcomers to try trading online, and experienced online sellers will be able to trade with maximum margin through the marketplace.
