The new G-Shock is a real smart watch

Casio may not be the most prestigious watch brand, but it is famous for its good quality and impeccable aesthetics, so it boasts a considerable number of fans. The Japanese manufacturer has also been interested in technological innovations for a long time: already in 2016, he introduced his first smartwatch, and the following models from his most famous series were equipped with solutions such as Bluetooth, GPS and a music player. However, only the GBD-H1000 can be called a real G-Shock smart watch.

The Casio G-Shock GBD-H1000 does not have a classic dial, but a round LCD display that displays the current time and various notifications about calendar events, calls, messages, or results related to user activity. With a smartphone, it connects, of course, via Bluetooth. G-Shock is resistant to shock and vibration, as well as waterproof (in the class up to 20 bar).

The first smartwatch G-Shock has on board a heart rate monitor, GPS, compass, barometer, thermometer and accelerometer. Thanks to this, he can at any time provide a complete set of information that is important for active users: from heart rate, number of steps, distance and pace, to details about the location. Along with the watch, you can view all this in the application on your smartphone.

Black and white display makes this model does not require much energy to work. Therefore, Casio successfully used solar energy here (working not only with sunlight, but also with artificial). Of course, if we use features like a heart rate monitor or GPS, you might need to use a standard USB charger.

Casio G-Shock GBD-H1000 was estimated at 50,000 yen, which is about 29,680 rubles. The premiere is scheduled for April this year.
